Hi there! My name is Kati & I’ve been a practicing dietitian for twelve years – though I’ve been passionate about nutrition for much longer!

My passion came from raising four children, one of whom was critically ill. I saw firsthand the difference that appropriate nutrition could make in rectifying disease processes while other health professionals scoffed at the idea.

After applying these nutrition principles within my own family, I became eager to help others and graduated from ETSU with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition.

My concentrations include pediatrics, the importance of developing healthy eating habits, gluten sensitivity & intolerance, & diabetes. I’m especially passionate about helping children & families understand nutrition’s impact in preventing & treating health issues in children.

I like to approach nutrition counseling from a client-centered perspective & am determined to

understand you & your kiddos as whole people with specific needs & goals.

I’m dedicated to helping my clients find more energy through providing your body with the right foods to achieve balance & optimal health.

Nutrition is never a one-size-fits-all endeavor. That’s why we focus on the uniqueness of you.

My motto is that it’s never too early nor too late to be the healthiest YOU!

When I’m not working with clients at Heal U, I love spending time with my children & grandchildren, walking through my neighborhood, traveling, scouring old cookbooks for cherished recipes to amend into healthier versions, gluten-free baking, creative cooking, healthy meals, reading great books while drinking great coffee, & visiting Disney World as often as possible with my family.

“No disease that can be treated with diet should be treated with any other means.”
